  • There are no financial obligations.
  • Each youth organization will nominate a youth or young adult to represent their organization on a bimonthly youth council Zoom call to discuss EYC projects and business.
5. What are the benefits of youth-oriented/youth-focused member organizations?
  • Your organization will be listed as an “EYC  Member Youth Organization” in the “About Us” section of the EYC website with a link to your website (if applicable).
  • You will be connected with other youth/young adults and youth oriented organizations throughout the world.
  • You will be invited to participate in our annual Global Empowered Youth Summits and to nominate presenters.
  • You will receive EYC quizzes and videos which you can freely share with others.

  • You will be invited to bring youth to advocate for life and family issues at United Nations conferences.

6. What is a mentoring organization?

There are many wonderful pro-life and pro-family organizations that are not specifically focused on youth or young adults that have vast experience and expertise in pro-life and pro-family issues. We are excited to have these good organizations also join the EYC as mentoring organizations that can share their expertise with EYC youth by contributing to our various campaigns (optional) or possibly providing videos, speakers, or other tools that can be used to equip youth worldwide to stand for life and family. Even just adding your organization’s name to the coalition to show support can add strength and numbers to this cause.

7. What are the obligations for mentoring organizations?

While not mandatory, we encourage each mentoring organization to establish a youth arm if they don’t already have one. Even if you start with just one youth or young adult that you appoint from your organization to participate in the EYC Youth Council (the EYC Youth Council will hold bimonthly Zoom calls), we hope this will jumpstart efforts in good organizations throughout the world to help empower more youth and young adults to stand for life and family. Then together we can build the next generation of pro-life and pro-family leaders. We also encourage your youth arm to gather regularly, virtually or in person, to have discussions on EYC topics using the videos, quizzes, and other resources to empower and reach even more youth and young adults.

8. What are the benefits for mentoring organizations?
  • Your organization will be listed as an “EYC Mentoring Organization” in the “About Us” section of the EYC website with a link to your website (if applicable).
  • You will be connected with other youth/young adults and youth oriented organizations as well as other pro-life and pro-family organizations throughout the world.
  • You will be invited to participate in our annual Global Empowered Youth Summits and to nominate presenters.
  • You will receive EYC quizzes and videos which you can freely share.
  • You can make submissions for any of our EYC campaigns sharing your expertise with others.
  • You will be invited to bring youth and young adults to advocate for life and family issues at United Nations conferences.
  • You will have access to all EYC’s resources including training videos, webinars, policy tools, etc. and can contribute to these resources if applicable.
9. Is this a religious coalition? Do you have to espouse a specific faith tradition to join?

No, there is no faith litmus test for joining or participating in the EYC. The EYC is unique in that it welcomes people everywhere who support our EYC values and are passionate about EYC topics including people of all faiths or those of no specific faith. While many of our members are motivated by their personal faiths/beliefs, the Empowered Youth Coalition takes all of its positions based on social science data, medical facts, legal arguments, etc. as that is what has proved to be most effective in the public square for impacting public policies. This approach enables people of many cultures, backgrounds, and faiths to come together to work on these important issues.

10. How is the EYC funded or powered?

Family Watch International currently facilitates the Empowered Youth Coalition. We welcome good organizations everywhere to join us as partners in this endeavor to empower the rising generation to stand for life and family.
