¡Creo firmemente en la importancia de la familia! La familia es la unidad básica de la sociedad y un instrumento para moldear individuos en mejores personas, estudiantes, amigos, trabajadores, y fundamentalmente, mejores ciudadanos globales. No voy a obviar el hecho de que la gran mayoría de nosotros, tiene una vida familiar menos que perfecta, sin embargo, justamente esto es lo que me hace pensar que la familia es una gran herramienta en el desarrollo de una sociedad— por medio de padres bondadosos y comprensivos, los niños pueden crecer en un ambiente que les permite de igual manera, aprender a interactuar con otras personas de manera saludable -quienes también están aprendiendo a ir por el camino de la vida- al mismo tiempo que les permite llegar a conocerse y entenderse a sí mismos. Naturalmente, esto requiere la disposición de los padres de continuamente buscar maneras de llegar a prepararse mejor para poder cumplir con las exigencias de tan importante rol. Además, añadiré que las entidades tanto sociales como gubernamentales, deberían estar mayormente enfocadas en fortalecer a la familia y en proveerle con las herramientas necesarias para así, asegurar el desarrollo de una sociedad saludable, dinámica y simbiótica.

I firmly believe in the importance of families! Families are the very basic unit in a society, and an instrument to model individuals into better people, students, friends, coworkers, and ultimately, global citizens. I will not be oblivious to the fact that most of us have a less-than-perfect family life, nevertheless, this proves to be precisely why I think families are such a great tool in the development of society— through caring, understanding parents, children can grow up in an environment that allows them to both learn to interact in a healthy way with others -who are equally learning to walk the walk of life- at the same time they come to better know and understand themselves. This naturally requires willingness from parents to increasingly look for ways to become better prepared themselves to fulfill such a crucial role. Furthermore, I will add that social and governmental entities should be focused in strengthening families and providing them with the necessary tools to thus, ensure the development of a healthy, dynamic, symbiotic society.
