The idea of not having my family or even my parents making the choice to not bring me into the world makes me emotionally distressed.
Family is valuable and should not be taken for granted. Without the family, a large part of our life and culture would be missing. There are inconsistencies in views everywhere, but the psalmist David presents the truth we must stand on as written in Psalm 127:3-5: “Don’t you see that children are God’s best gift? the fruit of the womb his generous legacy?” The question is not how old or big or smart or inconvenient the unborn are, but who they are. The answer is simple, they are human beings, a gift from God and a LEGACY.
